This experience is designed for curious and open-minded travellers seeking a deeper, more authentic connection to Cape Town and its people.
Rather than focusing on polished tourist spaces, the Little Mogadishu Food Tour explores the everyday cultural life of Bellville through the businesses, kitchens and stories of the people who call it home. The experience combines food, history, conversation and urban exploration in a way that is immersive, respectful and community-centred.

- Visit a selection of independent Somali, Ethiopian and African-owned restaurants, cafés and community spaces in Bellville
- Enjoy traditional East African and Afro-Arab dishes inspired by the culinary cultures of the Red Sea and Horn of Africa
- Experience Somali and Ethiopian coffee culture and explore culturally significant shops and businesses unique to the area
- Learn how immigrant and diaspora communities have contributed to Bellville’s evolving social and culinary identity
